Dr. Vaberlie P. Mandane-Garcia, Sustainable Development Officer, was invited by the College of Accountancy, Business, Economics and International Hospitality Management (CABEIHM) to discuss effective pedagogical methods for teaching sustainability in higher education. Dr. Garcia emphasized the important role of collaboration in preparing graduates for the workforce and their capacity to drive positive change in their communities.

Building on ecological design principles, Dr. Garcia introduced to the faculty the innovative teaching strategies that can facilitate transformative learning in sustainability. The talk was attended by almost 150 faculty members of CABEIHM on a hybrid setup at Acacia Hall, 5th Flr. Higher Education Building of Pablo Borbon Campus.
