Batangas State University showcases game-changing innovations at CES 2025 in Las Vegas

Batangas State University, The National Engineering University (BatStateU The NEU), led by its President Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo and Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension Services Engr. Albertson D. Amante proudly takes part in CES 2025, the world’s premier technology event, from January 7 to 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Spearheaded by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Philippine delegation—the largest ever at CES—spotlights cutting-edge innovations developed by Filipino talent. This offers an unparalleled opportunity to showcase the country’s best next-generation technology to a global audience of industry leaders, investors, media professionals, and tech enthusiasts. During the opening program, DOST Secretary, Dr. Renato U. Solidum Jr. delivered, “This is historic, the largest participation of the Philippines in the Consumer Electronics Show that extends the footprint of Filipino technology and innovation by showcasing it to international exhibitions.” Themed “Propelling Philippine Progress through Science, Technology, and Innovation,” the opening program set the tone for the country’s ambition to establish a stronger global presence in science and technology.

CES, regarded as a global proving ground for breakthrough technologies and emerging innovations, brings together the world’s leading companies, startups, and academic institutions to present their most advanced products and solutions. This prestigious event offers BatStateU a platform to highlight its pioneering initiatives and strengthen its position as a technological research and education leader in the Philippines.

𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗨 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

BatStateU is showcasing two groundbreaking technologies:

1. TRIOE: Tinkering Resources for Internet of Everything is an edutech platform designed to revolutionize Industry 4.0 teaching and learning for STEM.

2. ParallaxEd: An innovative mixed reality-based virtual lab simulation system for STEM and engineering education, featuring advanced haptic gloves and a VR integration to redefine experiential learning.

Further amplifying its role in driving national innovation, BatStateU The NEU will also present its Knowledge, Innovation, and Science Technology (KIST) Park, the Philippines’ first and only university-based special economic zone. The BatStateU KIST Park fosters industry-academe collaboration, accelerates technological advancements, and supports innovation-driven enterprises, positioning BatStateU at the forefront of economic development through research and technology.
