Displaying environmental stewardship and community engagement, Batangas State University (BatStateU) through its campuses came together to participate in the Philippine Red Cross Barakong Bayani Tree Planting Activity in celebration of the PRC’s 75th founding anniversary.

A total of 7,261 tree seedlings, encompassing a diverse range of species of forest trees including Caballero, Narra, Red Nato, Bitaog, and Cupang, were distributed among the constituent and extension campuses of BatStateU. The tree planting activity was conducted both inside and outside the campus vicinity across the Batangas Province.

The tree planting event symbolized a proactive approach towards environmental conservation and underscored the commitment of BatStateU towards sustainable development and creating a greener, healthier future.
