Last April 11, 2024, the Center for Sustainable Development hosted an Art Competition “”Green Tomorrow Sparks: The Face of Sustainable BatStateU-The NEU”” inviting students, faculty, and employees to creatively express their visions and aspirations for sustainable development.

The art competition was scheduled as a half-day event from 8:00 AM -12:00 NN at Seminar Room, 5th Floor, Jose Rizal Building, Pablo Borbon Campus. Students and employees from BatStateU Pablo Borbon, Lipa, ARASOF – Nasugbu, JPLPC Malvar, and Alangilan participated in the competition.

As the competition celebrates the second year of Batangas State University as the The National Engineering University, the competition also showcased the university as a Champion of Sustainability. The representatives from Alangilan Campus were hailed as the champions of the competition. Meanwhile, the BatStateU ARASOF – Nasugbu Campus bagged the second prize and the BatStateU Lipa Campus took home the third prize.

This event serves as a platform to inspire and engage university stakeholder in advocating for environmental stewardship, social equity, and economic prosperity. Through artistic expression, BatStateU aims for a deeper understanding of sustainability issues and ignite meaningful conversations that drive positive action towards a brighter and more sustainable future.
